  Margaret's name is recorded in the OPR as "nicInvine" ('nic' being the feminine form of 'mac'). However it is believed the name is correctly "Niven" not "Invine". There was a branch of the McNiven family who were foresters in Glen Artney in Comrie parish. It is not known if Margaret belonged to that family or not.
