  It is believed that, but not confirmed that the John Prangley who married each of these women was the same John Prangley born in 1761 in Sutton Veny and that he is the same John Prangley born son of Richard Prangley bap in 1761 in Brixton Deverill. It is assumed that his first wife died in childbirth and that he married almost immediately thereafter and that the child of his first marriage was born before, but baptized after his second marriage. Sutton Veny is about 2km SW of Warminster.
