In 1850, a Levi Prangley (believed to be the same Levi Prangley) aged 33 can be found in the 1850 census for Clinton County, Iowa. No spouse or children are listed. As we have no records of any Prangleys coming to North America earlier than this family it is strongly believed, though not proven, that Levi Prangley immigrated with his family to Kent County, Ontario, then later to Michigan, and finally following his brother, Esau, to Iowa.
