Notes - Fredrick Thomas Richardson was born in Onandaga Township and received his preliminary education there and later at Brantford Collegiate Institute, the Ottawa Normal School, and the Hamilton Normal School. He was principal of Gibson School for over 25 years. He as a prominent Freemason, being a past master of Wardrope Lodge and a member of Acacia Lodge (a lodge he shared with Ryk Brown's grandfather, J. Stewart Brown), as well as a member of the Scottish Rite. He was a regular member of First United Church in Hamilton where he held the office of Clerk of Session.
