• Notes

  According to The Annals of the Forty, Thomas and his family moved to Buffalo, NY. The 13 year gap between children is consistent with census records. It is presumed they had several stillborn children in the intervening years who were unregistered. In 1860 he is listed as "Thomas"; in 1870 he is listed as "Henry".
