Or he may be the father of "Alexander, son of Donald" in Duncragan of Line 4: "Alastir mac Dhoal [Stewart], [a] tacksman of Duncragan [in] Callander parish, [on the Earl of] Perth's estate, [which] now [belongs to] Sir Patrick Murray of Auchtertyre. [Alastir] was of a bastard line. [He] left two sons: 1. a bleacher [in the] new town of Campsie 2. the other at Bonill Levenside [in] Dumbartonshire"
