Notes - Janet's birth is given in family records as 16 JUL 1784 in Duart. It is believed that Janet married firstly to Neil BRUCE (no record) in Drymen, Stirling, Scotland and had one son, John Bruce, who is referenced in Janet's brother's John's 1867 will as a "nephew living in Glasgow." Family records confirm that Janet married (presumably secondly) to William Campbell. It is also possible that her first son, John Bruce, was illegitimate -- as the OPR has not been consulted. Janet resided at "The Park" in Drymen, Stirling with her second husband and children.
