Notes - 12 Aug 1762 - "William Stewart in Hythie had daughters twins brought forth by his wife, Elspet Davidson, baptized, called the one Margaret, the other Mary, before witnesses, James Mitchell and John Milne in Hythie." (Old Deer parish register, Aberdeenshire, Scotland)
Margaret Stewart had a twin sister, Mary, who appears to have died young. Margaret's nephew, George Stewart in 1848, indicates that Margaret never married and died "some years ago."
