  Jeanette is not listed in Stewart Clan Magazine as one of the children of Charles Stewart and Polly Jones. Jeanette is mentioned in the will of her brother, Duncan A. Stewart, who refers to his sister Janet Perkins. Only one male Perkins is found in Wilkinson County in 1830, namely William P Perkins. His wife is the right age to be Jeanette.
