  Margaret's exact place of birth is not recorded in the Kincardine OPR however her parents were recorded in the OPR at the time of their marriage as residing on the Moss and at the baptism of their son John in 1806 they are recorded as residing on the Moss. As such it is presumed that they were residing on the Moss for the intervening years also.
