  (The OPR shows his mother's name as Janet Stewart instead of Christian Stewart, but this is an error.) Robert is described in Stewarts of the South as being "lately in Invercarnaig" and thus he died bef. 1815. He is recorded as having one (surviving) son, James, a cow feeder in Glasgow. Onomastics would dictate that Robert would have had an earlier son named Robert. No OPR match has presently been found.
