  Thomas Stewart married his first cousin, Christina Stewart. His father and her mother were brother and sister. But they were also second-cousins on his paternal grandmother's side and third-cousins on his paternal great-grandfather's side. They were also fourth-cousins on her mother's side and his father's side. It's a good thing they never had children. Their autosomal DNA results would have been a nightmare to sort out.
