Notes - In 1841 Jemima is believed to be found living in Flint, Flintshire, Wales, with Ann and Elizabeth Williams, ages 8 and 6. Jemima is too young to be their mother, so it is presumed she is their older sister. No parents are residing with them. However, her marriage in 1844 indicates that she resided in Mold at the time and was recorded as "of this parish."
On 8 Dec 1844, William Jones, a collier, residing in Llwynegrin, son of John Jones, a miner, married to Jemima Williams, residing in Mold, daughter of William Williams, a callier. Their ages were given only as "of full age." The marriage was witnessed by Evan Jones and Margaret Williams, presumably their siblings. Llwynegrin Lodge is located adjacent to a lead mine, about 2 km north of Mold and about 8 km south of Flint.
In 1851 Jemima is found in Flint with her husband William Jones and their two boys, William and John.
In July 1854, Jemima Jones married in Holywell, Flintshire, Wales to George Griffiths.
In 1861 she is found in at 79 Duke Street in Flint as "Jemima Griffiths" with her sons, William and John Jones. Jemima's daughter, 3 year old Harriet Griffiths, is found nearby at 75 Duke Street in Flint residing with her 69 year old grandmother, Sarah Dean.
In 1871, at age 52, Jemima Griffiths, twice widowed, was residing in Bolton, Lancashire, England, with her son, John Jones and daughter Harriet Griffiths.
In 1881 a widowed Jemima Griffiths is found in Blackley, Lancashire, England with her 22 year old daughter, Harriet Griffiths.
Jemima Griffiths has not been found in 1891. She is presumed to have either died or married again to an unknown man between 1881-1891.
