  Descendant David Paterson provides the following: "Mr MacNaughton farmer at Inverlochlarig who married Miss McIntyre [in] Iyhnabloir(?). His mother was a Stewart, a sister of Stewart in Auchnallader, (an aunt) of Helen Muir Stewart, Dec. 27th 1925 - Information from Helen Muir Stewart." This refers to Margaret Stewart, sister of Donald Stewart of Auchalader, above, who married Alexander McNaughton. Margaret would have been a great-aunt to Helen Muir Stewart. John McNaughton, son of Margaret Stewart and Alexander McNaughton, resided at Inverlochlarig.
