• Notes

Tanya shows William John Edwards as coming from Carmarthenshire, Wales. However, all Canadian census records that he appears in (1911, 1921, 1931) show him as born in England, not Wales. This appears to be drawn from the Richards Family Tree which shows him born 864 in Carmarthen, Wales, as son of Thomas and Mary Ann Edwards. However, this William John Edwards is found still in Wales in the 1901 census, so he could not be in Nova Scotia, Canada at the time. William John Edwards has not been found in the 1901 census.
