  In 1891, at age 14, Alice was working as a domestic servant in the home of Samuel Black in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. She gives her parents' places of birth as Ireland. Alice's death registration gives her parents' names as George Murley and Mary Pike. The informant is her son Henry Edwards. No records have been found for a birth matching this information.
