  "1 Jul 1739, Janet, daughter of John STUART and Katharine GRAME in Coldock. Witt. Moses Thomson there and Robert Grame in Offan." (Kilmadock OPR) From Stewarts of the South, we can infer that one of John Stewart's daughters was married to the uncle of John Campbell who built the George Inn in the town of Perth.
