Notes |
- George Stewart is mentioned in the 1860 will of his brother, John Stewart, as being a furnaceman at Newmains Ironworks. It is unclear from the testament whether George is the brother of John Stewart or his son, John Stewart. We currently show him in both locations to permit automated searches for his records until we determine which is the correct reading of the testament.
No birth record has been found for a matching George Stewart in either generation.
