In 1841, Robert Stewart was residing in Buchlyvie, employed as a master wright. 1851 ditto Findagrave shows a different Robert Stewart with the same death date of 14 Mar 1844 buried in St. Ninians and recorded as "Esq of Steuart Hall." with child Margaret Ann Stewart 1833-1838, and wife Helen Buchanan.
