• Notes

Mary Stewart is estimated to have been born about 1757 in Stirlingshire, Scotland to unknown parents. She is NOT a daughter of Duncan Stewart as shown here. She is attached to Duncan temporarily to not lose track of her as she is related to him by some unidentified means. Mary is listed in the 1801 testament of Duncan Stewart in Kerse of Leckie, as being one of several executors and closest kin to the deceased. But she is not believed to be his daughter. According to the testament, she married James McGregor.
