• Notes

  When he was younger he worked as a detail auto painter for the Ford Motor Company. He was apparently a fine artist and a jack of all trades. He could also sew and made slippers and shoes from leather. It would appear he continued the family trade of leather work. He was also a singer, a fiddler, and a square-dance caller. In his later years he worked as a custodian at Belle Isle School then Gordon MacGregor School, both in Windsor.
