  In 1841 Janet Anderson, age 35, was residing in Cummingston, Duffus, Moray, Scotland with her father, Alexander Anderson, age 75, and her daughter, May Shaw, 5. In 1851 Janet Anderson, age 45, was residing in Cummingston, Duffus, Moray, Scotland with her father, Alexander Anderson, age 87, and her daughter, Marjory Shaw, 16. Janet was employed as a housekeeper. Sometime between 1862-65, Janet's daughter, Marjory emigrated to Middlesex County, Ontario, Canada. Janet has not been found in the 1861 census for Scotland or Canada and is presumed to have died between 1851-1861.
