  "He married Hilda Matilda Knutson of East Valley, Marshall County, Minnesota, on December 9, 1910...Hilda was born December 6, 1887, at Fertile, Minnesota. She was one of ten children born to Hans and Mathea Knutson.. Her Mother was born August 13, 1856, in Norway, and came to America when she was six years old. Hans was also born in Norway, on January 11, 1852. Hans and Mathea married April 7, 1876...Hilda passed away November 21, 1964...William Charles..passed away February 7, 1978...they had one daughter Erma Clare, and one son, William Norman."
