A matching Thomas Liptrot, born1815 in Bolton, Lancashire, England, can be found in 1851 residing in Tonge with Haulgh, Lancashire, England, employed as a carder, with a wife, Alice, and children Elizabeth, Sarah Ann, and Mary Jane.
