• Notes

  Richard worked as a coal carter, probably for his brother Thomas who was a coal dealer. He was the last of the Liptrots to emigrate in 1913, while his siblings emigrated in 1907. Richard worked for CIL for 29 years. He was a member of Calvary United Church where he served as a trustee.
