Helen Fields, (Name: Name: Name: Pub. 1983 by the Genealogical Publishing Co., Inc., Baltimore, MD.;;;), Pg. 139. 1754 Jan. 14 Middle Octoraro Society "Rode 6 miles to Joseph Walker's after marrying (at John Walker's) James Brown and Mary McClellan..." Note: Colin Brown named John Walker to be the administrator of his will. Colin and John lived in Sadsbury Township which was located in the Octoraro Society. This seems to be good proof, although circumstantial, that James is indeed the son James of Colin and therefore this proved whom he married and the period in which children would follow. However, his children Hannah and John were born prior to this marriage. Perhaps Mary McClellan is a second wife.
