As a young adult she lived with her Uncle Angus Buchanan’s family at Blarcreen. Later, she is reported in the census as living with her mother as a dressmaker. After her mother’s death, she is found in the Lorn Combination Poorhouse at Oban, where she died at age 82 from influenza complicated by senile debility.
